Hekate's Legacy Charity Event
Hosted by the Jade Cat & the Ravel
In honor of a dear friend and a fellow Warrior of Light who has returned to the star for the next part of their journey, we want to give to their legacy by hosting a charity event dedicated to their life. Join us in celebrating their life and consider donating to our chosen charity.
Locations: Jade Cat (Gob W15P8) and the Ravel (Lav W13P9). Both are on Malboro in the Crystal DC
Date & Time: September 11th, 2025 from 7pm-10pm EST & September 29th, 2025 from 8pm-11pm EST
We ask that all participants wear white, yellow, or purple (or a combination of the three).White to symbolize new beginnings in the new chapter of their soul's journey.
Yellow for Sarcoma awareness.
And purple just cause it was their favorite color.
Day 1
Hosted at the Jade Cat
The Jdde Cat will be hosting the first day of the event on September 11, 2025Enjoy a day of chill celebration of tea and sweets with live music. As will be true for both days, wanderer's campfire minions and white brightlily corsages will be given away to any who requests one or both. For those interested in getting a tarot reading, please take a look at the staff members with the green LFP tag.

Day 2
Hosted at the Ravel
The Ravel will be hosting the second day of the event on September 29, 2025While to some it may look like an ordinary cottage in the middle of the Lavender Beds, the Ravel holds a secret. Whisper 'Scree' into one of the bookshelves and they may open for you, either to other areas (private rooms) or to a staircase leading to a hidden speakeasy. Enjoy delicious drinks and bar food paired with some live music. As with Day 1 of this event, seek out those with green LFP tags for tarot readings.While Room 1 is a simple bedroom, 3 & 4 were designed by the infamous Hekate themselves, a trip into another world and a small church to a certain great serpent. You're free to explore them at your leisure but be careful not to get lost!

Art Contest
As our main FC, Scree's Chosen Ones and the Ravel double as a cult to the Great Serpent of Ronka, we will be hosting an art contest for art of the Great Serpent himself, long may he reign. Entries must be submitted to the Google Form linked below and will close at midnight on Sept 26th.

1. Digital or traditional art is allowed.
2. No AI art. Any AI art submissions will be immediately disqualified.
3. Only one entry is allowed per person. If you believe you submitted the wrong image, please message KennyraeWolf on discord to request to change it.

Glamour Contest
As Hekate was a fan of mythology and held pagan beliefs, along with myself, we will be hosting a glamour contest themed around gods and goddesses. Whether they're well-known like horny Thunder Daddy himself, Zeus, or lesser-known ones like Tu'er Shen, a deity from Chinese mythology who oversees the intimate relations of gay men. Any god or goddess is on the table for you to create a glamour interpretation of your deity of choice. Entries must be submitted to the Google Form linked below and will close at midnight on Sept 26th.

1. All glams must be vanilla. Custom posing and filters are allowed, but character model and props must exclusively be vanilla.

About
On September 11, 2024, Tarot Leblanc, also known as Hekate Apothecare or Kyali Maru in the Final Fantasy XIV community, passed away from Stage IV Sarcoma cancer. To honor them, we will be hosting a charity event to raise money and awareness for sarcoma-related charities. This year, we will be donating to the American Cancer Society.Hekate was an amazing person, friend, and mentor to many. As a family member put it, they were always unapologetically themselves. They struggled in a world that didn't always accept them for choosing to be nonbinary, but they pressed forward no matter what obstacles they faced, whether due to their gender, health issues, or anything else they came across. They were always willing to lend a helping hand, especially to those they called friends, always going above and beyond whenever possible. They were a talented artist, both in traditional and digital media, an author, and a skilled tarot reader. They were wise beyond their years and were taken from us too soon at the age of 27.But death is not a permanent end, merely an end to a new beginning. A new chapter in Hekate's life that we will all someday follow, when we, too, pass on and return to the star, whatever lies beyond. What we have right now is the time spent with friends, family, blood or no, and those we hold dear, to make every moment count, and to take care of ourselves to the best of our ability. Life will always throw us curveballs - physically or emotionally. However, if we can find comfort and joy in the small things, such as the people, pets, and things that give even the tiniest boost of serotonin, that makes it worth it and the hard times more bearable.
